Marlboro Psychiatric Burglary Leads to 3 Arrests

The men allegedly stole copper wiring from buildings on the hospital property.

Three Pennsylvania men were arrested last week at the closed Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital after allegedly entering buildings on the property and removing copper wiring, according to police.

Sean Quinn, 31, of Fairless Hills, Penn., William Thomas, 30, of Levittown, Penn. and Charles Barton, 30, of Warrington, Penn. were arrested on July 31 after police allegedly found the trio on the hospital property with burglary tools and stolen copper wiring. 

Police say Quinn was in violation of parole in Texas by fleeing the state.

Quinn was charged with fleeing Texas and burglary. He is being held in the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $115,000 bail. Of that amount, $100,000 is dedicated to the charge of being a fugitive from justice.

Thomas was also charged as a fugitive for justice for allegedly fleeing Pennsylvania after being charged with possession of marijuana. Thomas is also behind held in the jail in lieu of $150,000 bail. Thomas faces charges of burglary and receiving stolen property.

Barton was charged with burglary and receiving stolen property, and has since been released from jail pending a court date.
