Marlboro Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting 11-Year-Old
Alleged incidents happened in Freehold Township, Freehold Borough and Marlboro.

A Marlboro resident faces a 12-count indictment from a Monmouth County grand jury for charges which include sexual assault on an 11-year-old child in his hometown as well as in Freehold.
Adam Herr, 28, faces one count of first-degree aggravated sexual assault against the child between July and September 2013 in Freehold. He was also indicted on one count of second degree sexual assault for being at least four years older than the child at the time of the incident.
The third count of the indictment is for third-degree endangering the welfare of a child for engaging in sexual conduct with a child less than 16-years-old at the time. Herr was also indicted on a second count of first-degree aggravated sexual assault as well as a second count of second degree sexual assault and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child for incidents occurring in the township in the same timeframe.

The charges against Herr also allege the crime of first degree aggravated sexual assault occurred in Freehold Borough at that time which also brought charges of second-degree sexual assault and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. He also faces similar charges for incidents in Marlboro during that time.
