Marlboro Police Raise $3,500 For Local Family's Holiday Gifts

Marlboro police thank the community for donations to its "adopted" family who needed extra help this holiday season.

MARLBORO, NJ —The Police Department and Chief Peter Pezzullo are thanking everyone who donated to the department's Adopt-A-Family program this holiday season.

A family of five was experiencing some difficult times, and needed a little holiday cheer, the department said at the start of the program.

"With your support, we were able to raise over $3,500 in gift cards and presents for our chosen family," the department said. "We were so fortunate to be able to provide a little holiday cheer to our 'adopted' family.
