Marlboro Resident To Receive Team Walker Hero Award
Craig McGraw will receive the award on Oct. 10 for his achievements and commitment to the Team Walker organization.
MARLBORO, NJ — A local Marlboro resident will receive the Team Walker Hero Award on Oct. 10 for his achievements and commitment to Team Walker, a non-profit organization that helps low-income residents of Jersey City.
Craig McGraw, of Morganville, will receive the award at the Liberty House in Jersey City.
Currently the vice president of sales and marketing for Trans American Trucking & Warehouse, McGraw is also a board member of Team Walker.

Founded in 1996, the non-profit aims to provide inner-city children with a safe and secure environment to study and participate in athletics while surrounded by positive role models.
In his work with the organization, McGraw has secured sponsors and donations for Team Walker, as well as run events. He was involved with the Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, Walk for Team Walker, Team Walker Golf Outing, and more.

Outside of Team Walker, McGraw serves on the Governing Committee of the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association.
In addition, he is a member of the Forbes Business Development Council and a delegate for the National Police Defense Foundation, which runs the Operation Kids charitable program to help fund surgery for underprivileged children.
Previously, McGraw served on the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County Board. On the board, he organized the annual “Occupy the Block” party for Freehold Borough, which encouraged positive interaction between community children and the police.
McGraw’s honors include being named one of the 2015 and 2020 “Forty Under 40” award winners by NJBIZ, receiving the 2018 School of Arts & Science Good and Faithful Servant Award from Seton Hall University, and receiving the National Police Defense Foundation’s 2019 Distinguished Member Award for his work in organizing the Occupy the Block party.
In 2022, McGraw was named “Maquis Who’s Who in America,” and in 2024, he was appointed to the Zoning Board of Adjustment for Marlboro Township.
McGraw will receive the Team Walker Hero Award on Oct. 10 at the Liberty House in Jersey City.
