Marlboro Township Now Offering Booster Shots

The vaccine clinic is walk-in and there are no appointments. The shot will be available for Marlboro residents.

MARLBORO, NJ — The Monmouth County Health Department will be offering the COVID-19 booster shot to Marlboro residents next Wednesday.

Pfizer doses will be administered between 9 a.m. and noon at the Marlboro Recreation Center (gym side entrance).

People who received the Moderna vaccine are eligible for a third dose if they are immunocompromised 28 days after their second dose.

To be eligible for a booster shot you must match one of the following criteria:

  • People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot.
  • People age 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot.
  • People age 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot, based on their individual benefits and risks.
  • People age 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional settings, including healthcare workers, may receive a booster shot, based on their individual benefits and risks.

No proof of a medical condition will be necessary in order to receive a booster dose.

Residents should bring their CDC Vaccination Card or other documentation of the vaccine doses they have received.
