MARLBORO, NJ — Mold growth has been found in the Marlboro Township Police Department headquarters, according to Marlboro business administrator Jonathan Capp.

Some of the staff is working in other municipal buildings and another part is working from home, but some have chosen to stay in the headquarters.

The findings come from a report dated Sept. 9 by an independent testing company.

The township is in the process of hearing proposals for different contractors and will soon have a timeline for when the problem can be addressed, Capp said.

Because some of these contractors are dealing with the fallout from the storms that have hit New Jersey recently they are busier than usual.
