Monmouth County Fair Sets Up Shop

How happy are Patch readers? Happier than a camel on Wednesday.

Temporarily put those umbrellas down, the sun will peak through today and temperatures won't quite hit the 90 degree mark.

And a break from thunderstorms hopefully means the Moving Up to 6th Grade swim night is back on track. It was postponed last night due to forecasted thunderstorms, but tonight it's schedule to start at 6 p.m. at the Aquatic Center. A $5 donation is accepted. At the door it's $7.

Colts Neck Police are looking for a black pickup truck with four white males and New York license plates after an attempted burglary on Monday on Conover Road.

The 39th annual Monmouth County Fair starts tonight and goes through July 28. A variety of rides will also be on site. Ride wristbands can be purchased for $20 per person Wednesday, July 24 from 5 to 10 p.m.; Thursday, July 25 from 5 to 1 p.m. and Sunday, July 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
