The issue of traffic increase came up in the meeting.
Board member Lynn Franco said that the Manalapan Starbucks on route 9 "often backs up" with cars waiting for the drive drive-through, the online publication reported. Chief traffic engineer at Atlantic Traffic & Design Engineering said there will be a 12-car maximum back up at the new location, even though four more cars would be able to fit in.
