Nolan Road, Gary Drive: This Week's Construction In Marlboro

MARLBORO, NJ — There are several road construction projects in Marlboro planned for this week.

Roads will be open during construction and drivers are advised to be cautious while going through the work zone.

The scheduled time frame is weather-dependent.

Here is the list of roads with planned projects:

  • Pheasant Drive, Wren Terrace and Quail Court - Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Pheasant Drive, Wren Terrace, and Quail Court performing pavement restoration along the areas of the recently installed curb.
  • Nolan Road – Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Nolan Road performing drainage rehabilitation south of Dover Court.
  • Gary Drive – Thursday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Gary Drive performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps at all intersections.

There are also a few upcoming works funded in part by the New Jersey Department of Transportation grant.

Here is the list:

Union Hill Road - The township will be repaving Union Hill Road between Clayton Road and the Manalapan border with funds from a $205,000 grant received from the State Department of Transportation. This work includes removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete curb and concrete curb and gutter, modifications to the intersection of Hawkins Road to improve the pedestrian crossing, upgrade of all curb ramps to meet ADA regulations and the milling and resurfacing of the entire roadway surface. The work is scheduled to be bid in the winter with construction commencing in the spring of 2022.

Wyncrest Road - The township will be repaving Wyncrest Road between Robertsville Road and Route 18 with funds from a $215,000 grant received from the State Department of Transportation. This work is being coordinated with water system improvements at the intersection of Robertsville Road, Wyncrest Road and Brookside Circle. Once the water main project is complete, Wyncrest Road and Brookside circle will be resurfaced along the project limits along with upgrades to the ADA curb ramps. The work is scheduled to be bid in the fall with construction of the water main to begin in 2021 and final completion anticipated in the spring of 2022.
