Outages Down to Hundreds as Snow Settles on Marlboro and Colts Neck

JCP&L trucks are still on the roads in some areas.

The snow is upon Monmouth County, and some residents are still without power.

Trucks are still working in both Marlboro and Colts Neck to restore power, and as the roads get more dangerous residents are urged to stay off the roads if possible.

Mayor Jon Hornik said trucks were out around 4 p.m. to salt major roads in Marlboro Township.

As of 5 p.m. on Wednesday night, just over 100 Marlboro residents are reportedly without power and 299 in Colts Neck.

The Marlboro Township Recreation Center is still open for residents looking for warmth and shelter.
