Planned Road Works In Marlboro For This Week

MARLBORO, NJ — The Marlboro Summer/Fall Road program is underway and there are a series of planned works throughout the town this week.

The scheduled time frame is weather-dependent. Some roads will remain accessible during construction and others will be closed. Drivers are advised to be cautious through the work zone.

Here is the list of roads that will remain open:

• Church Road - Monday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Church Road performing curb restoration as necessary between Floyd Wyckoff Road and Gordons Corner Road. Police Officers will be onsite.
• Adams and Barclay Streets – Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Adams Street and Barclay Street performing mill and paving operations.
• Gary Drive - Tuesday through Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Gary Drive performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps at all intersections.
• Quebec Road – Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Quebec Road performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps at all intersections.
• Brandywine Drive and Revere Court - Wednesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be performing mill and paving operations.

Here are the roads that will be closed, with police presence:

• Harbor Road – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Monday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., NJNG will be performing interim paving and road repair at Tennent and Harbor Roads in advance of the Township designing the roadway for full reconstruction with drainage improvements. The roadwork may necessitate closures at times. Detours will be in place and Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists and residents.
• Conover Road - Thursday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Conover Road performing mill and pave operations between Pleasant Valley Road and CR520. Detours will be in place and Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists and residents.
• Church Road –Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Church Road performing mill and pave operations between Floyd Wycoff and Gordons Corners Roads. Detours will be in place and Police Officers will be site to assist motorists and residents.
• Falson Lane - Falson Lane remains closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Digital and detour signs are posted. The detour will be from Texas Road, to Greenwood Road, to Ticetown Road, to Bernadette Drive for entry into the Woods Development. This is a daytime closure and Falson Lane will be opened each day at 4 p.m. This should be the final week, weather permitting.
