Car burglaries are coming back in full force, as several surrounding towns join Marlboro in reporting area car burglaries. According to Marlboro Police Capt. Bart Lombardo, two car burglaries on Embry Farm Road were reported on Monday. Lombardo said the investigations are ongoing, and could not supply further details. Holmdel police reported several car burglaries also on Monday, with all but one of the cars reported unlocked. At the end of May, nine cars in Colts Neck were burglarized over two days, according to Colts Neck Police. All of those cars, according to police, were unlocked.
