Snowfall Leads to Icy Road Conditions in Marlboro

Marlboro Township CERT advised drivers to use caution. Did you have trouble on the road Monday night?

Snowfall Monday evening created slippery road conditions in Marlboro and elsewhere in Monmouth County.

The Marlboro Township Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) urged drivers to be careful in a post to its Facebook page.

"Please use extreme caution tonight as roads are slippery due to ice and snow," the Marlboro Township CERT post stated.

On the Marlboro Patch Facebook page, readers commented on a status update about the difficult driving conditions in town.

"Yes it is icy," Lisa Cohen Schutzer wrote. "I just skidded on Amboy Road by Belmont."

Patricia Jarazo said Texas Road wasn't an easy drive.

"Was on Texas Road - very bad road conditions," Jazaro wrote on the Marlboro Patch Facebook page.
