Chief Kevin Sauter surrendered to the court after allegedly failing to comply with the terms of his divorce.

A warrant for the arrest of Colts Neck Police Chief Kevin Sauter was voided by a Monmouth County judge after the chief surrendered to the court in his divorce case.

The warrant was requested by Sauter's ex-wife, Regina Laffey Sauter, according to the Asbury Park Press. The warrant was issued on Jan. 2, stating Sauter failed to comply with conditions set by the court on Dec. 7.

The Asbury Park Press reported Sauter turned himself in to the court once he learned of the warrant. Court ordered conditions included removing personal property from the home of his ex-wife, providing a title to his truck, turning over the most recent statements of his 401(k), signing over a home-equity line of credit and reimbursing his ex-wife for college loans.
