Ways to Help after Hurricane Sandy in Marlboro and Colts Neck

We're all looking for something to do, any way to help. Whether it is dropping off food for our tired local emergency responders, or collecting clothing and other donations for those who lost everything, it's time to pitch in.

  • Cleaning Supplies 
  • Batteries
  • Can Openers
  • Baby Supplies (Especially diapers)
  • New Socks
  • New Underwear (Especially for adults)
  • Geriatric Diapers
  • Boxes

Donations are accepted from dawn until dusk. If you’re interested in volunteering at the drop-off site, drop by at 805 Newman Springs Road to sign up for a shift.

Valina Salon and Day Spa in Marlboro is accepting:

  • Clothes—all sizes, adults, infants & children
  • House Supplies—kitchen supplies, toiletry essentials (deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, feminine products etc.)
  • Shoes—all sizes, adults, infants & children
  • Food—non-perishables (canned goods), juice boxes for kids

Healthy Woman in Colts Neck is accepting clothing which will be donated to the Salvation Army.

Soul Power Yoga in Marlboro is accepting donations to the American Red Cross. Even better news, Soul Power Yoga will match 100 percent of the money collected and donate the entire amount to relief efforts. If you cannot attend a class, donations will be accepted until Nov. 11.

Soul Power Yoga is also accepting toys until Saturday Nov. 10 at 10am. Please drop-off at the studio when you attend class or email soulpoweryoga@gmail.com to schedule a drop-off time.
