Every town in New Jersey is under construction, whether its a new Whole Foods or a new housing development.
But just look around, so many of our current streets are named after former farm owners (Crine Rd., named after farm owner James Crine or Conover Rd., named after property owner Lafeyette Conover.)
Who was Becker Morganville? What happened to Colonel Asher's Holmes' house? What was the Marlboro Restaurant like when it existed? And really, why was Marl so important that the township was named after it? What was Colts Neck like when it was Scobeyville?
