MARLBORO, NJ — There are a few road construction projects planned for this week in Marlboro.
Roads will be open during construction and drivers are advised to be cautious while going through the work zone.

Here is the list of roads with planned projects:
- Clubhouse Lane – Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be on Clubhouse Lane between Robertsville Road and Coventry Terrace performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicapped ramps at all intersections.
- Gary Drive - Monda, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. construction crews will be on Gary Drive performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicapped ramps at all intersections.
- Victoria Court – Tuesday, November 9 and Wednesday, November 10 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. construction crews will be Victoria Court performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps.
- Wicker Place and Thomas Lane – Thursday and Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., construction crews will be at the intersection of Wicker Place and Thomas Lane and the surrounding vicinity performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps.
- Route 79 Resurfacing –Beginning Thursday until Nov. 24 at the earliest, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.(overnight), NJDOT Operations will begin resurfacing sections of Route 79 in various towns including Marlboro. Resurfacing work will take place Monday night through Friday night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. using an alternating traffic pattern. Weather conditions could cause the work to continue following Thanksgiving weekend. As per NJODT specification, there will be no construction work from Nov. 24 at 6 a.m. to Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. This resurfacing is separate from future scheduled Capital Program Management Resurfacing Projects on Routes 79 and 34.

- Ryan Road -Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ryan Road improvement project in the amount of $251,900.
- Union Hill Road - The Township will be repaving Union Hill Road between Clayton Road and the Manalapan border utilizing a $205,000 grant received from the State Department of Transportation. This work includes removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete curb and concrete curb and gutter, modifications to the intersection of Hawkins Road to improve the pedestrian crossing, upgrade of all curb ramps to meet ADA regulations and the milling and resurfacing of the entire roadway surface. The work is scheduled to be bid in the winter with construction commencing in the spring of 2022.
- Wyncrest Road - The Township will be repaving Wyncrest Road between Robertsville Road and Route 18 utilizing a $215,000 grant received from the State Department of Transportation. This work is being coordinated with water system improvements at the intersection of Robertsville Road, Wyncrest Road and Brookside Circle. Once the water main project is complete, Wyncrest Road and Brookside circle will be resurfaced along the project limits along with upgrades to the ADA curb ramps. The work is scheduled to be bid in the fall with construction of the water main to begin in 2021 and final completion anticipated in the spring of 2022.
