117 Aberdeen Homes Without Power Friday Morning Due To Storm
JCP&L said the electricity will be restored by 9:30 a.m. Friday.
ABERDEEN, NJ — As of 7:30 Friday morning, the electricity is out for more than 100 customers in the Strathmore section of Aberdeen, on the Matawan border, the Twp. announced.
The outage occurred at approximately 1:51 a.m. and appears to be the result of the overnight rain and storm damage to JCP&L equipment, said the town. In total, 117 customers are in the dark Friday morning.
All customers are expected to be restored later Friday morning; JCP&L said by 9:30 a.m.

There is another small pocket of homes without power by Cheesequake State Park, and another small pocket out in Keansburg, but that is fewer than 20 homes in both areas. There are no other major outages due to the heavy rain Thursday night into Friday morning.
