Walter R. Allen of Lawrence Harbor, NJ passed away October 10, 2012 at the Madison Center in Matawan, NJ. He was 78 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a long time resident of Lawreance Harbor before moving to old Bridge two years ago. Walter was a veteran of the US Air Force, and had worked as a radio repairman for Telhtron Company many years before retiring. He was a member of the Lutheran Memorial Church in Tinton Falls, and he had been a member of the Old Bridge Radio club.
Predeceased by his loving wife Doris, he is survived by his son & daughter-in-law Jeffrey R. & Susan Allen of North Brunswick, NJ and a daughter, Wendy Steinmacher of Sayreville, NJ and a son and his fiance', Justin & Sylvia Allen of Mahong, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Services, Saturday 10am at the funeral home. Interment, Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ
