LINDEN, NJ — On Nov. 9, a Keyport man was fatally stabbed outside the T.G.I. Fridays in Linden, and this week the Union County Prosecutor released surveillance photos of the suspect.
The Keyport man who was stabbed to death was Erik Kuns, 35. At approximately 10:00 p.m. Nov. 9, Linden Police were called to the T.G.I. Friday's for a report of a fight. Upon their arrival, they located Kuns with stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The person of interest is described as a Black man, approximately 6'0", 200 pounds with shoulder-length hair/dreadlocks and a black/gray patch beard. The man, who possibly goes by the name “D," is believed to be approximately 50 years old. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing all black clothing, with no visible tattoos, and Air Jordan 14's (Ferrari) sneakers.

"It is important for the public to note that hairstyles, beards and mustaches are easily changed," said Union County Prosecutor William Daniel. "Also, photographs do not always show the true complexion of a person, as it may be lighter or darker than shown in the photograph."
