Longtime Podiatrist and Aberdeen Resident Passes Away
Dr. David Schiettino, a podiatrist serving Hoboken for almost 40 years, passed away peacefully last week. Services will be held this Friday.
David Schiettino, 64 of Aberdeen (Cliffwood Beach) lost his battle with cancer on Friday August 16, 2024 at Jersey Shore Medical Center of Neptune.
He was born in Jersey City to the late Joseph Schiettino and Carmela (Tomassetti) Schiettino. David resided in Cliffwood Beach for almost 30 years. He obtained his Doctorate in Podiatry and owned and operated his own Podiatry practice, Washington Foot Care, for over 39 years. He was a mainstay in the community of Hoboken and served many loyal patients for years, often making house calls for those who could not make it to the office. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching football and baseball, and spending time with his family above all else.
