Monmouth County Halloween Costume Swap Is This Sunday
Drop off old costumes this week. Get a ticket to attend the swap this Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Freneau Woods Park Visitor Center in Aberdeen.
ABERDEEN, NJ — The Monmouth County Park System’s Eek-O-Fabulous Costume Swap will be this Sunday, Sept. 29.
How it works: Drop off a gently used Halloween costume (for kids, adults or even pets, yes really) all this week, and receive a token entitling you to a “new” costume on the day of the swap.
Costume drop-offs will be accepted Monday-Saturday, September 23-28 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Please, no dirty, stained or torn costumes. Drop-offs can be done at the following locations:

- Huber Woods Environmental Center, Middletown
- Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center, Howell
- Thompson Park Visitor Center, Lincroft
“New” costumes can then be selected during the swap from 12-1:30 p.m. this Sunday, September 29, held at the Freneau Woods Park Visitor Center in Aberdeen. Almost due or have a newborn? No token required for baby’s costume. Costumes are only available during the swap date and time. Unused tokens may be used at the next year’s swap.
