Power Outage Near Matawan Tuesday Morning
Between 100 - 500 affected along Rt. 35; expect power to be restored by 11 a.m., police say.
Hazlet Township, NJ - Update: As of 10:15 a.m., power has been restored, JCP&L reports.
Anywhere from 100 to 500 people are currently experiencing a power outage in Hazlet Township Tuesday morning, Jersey Central Power & Light reports on its website.
The outage is mostly affecting customers along Highway 35, township police said. JCP&L crews are on the scene now, and expect power to be restored by 11 a.m., police said. There is no word yet on what caused the outage.
