Send Children's Letters To Santa; South Amboy Couple Will Write Back

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — There is only one week left before Christmas, and children still have a chance to send their letter to Santa Claus — and get a letter mailed back.

Every December, South Amboy resident Tony Gonzalez sets up a mailbox to Santa at his home on South Stevens Avenue. And his wife, Shannon, writes a personalized letter back to every letter they receive.

"Every letter we get my wife replies to them," said Gonzalez. "Not to mention I play Santa every year. We love bringing cheer and the Christmas spirit to all."
