PERTH AMBOY, NJ — On Wednesday, a United States Marine Corps helicopter touched down at Dalton Park near Perth Amboy High School as part of Fleet Week.
The U.S. Navy planned a similar event to take place Thursday at Middletown High School South, but it was canceled due to the rain.
This was an educational experience for Perth Amboy High School students to learn about the U.S. military, especially for those students enrolled in the Navy's Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) program at Perth Amboy High School.
