Here is information about the bond referendum, a Jan. 12 virtual information session planned and how to vote on Jan. 25.
MENDHAM, NJ — Mendham Township voters will get to decide on Jan. 25 if they approve of $19.9 million in bond funding for the school district.
This bond funding, which would be earmarked for "building repairs and renovations, tech-centered instructional spaces and safety and security upgrades," would enable the township’s school district to use state aid to save 37 percent on costs, according to information from the township and school district.
The new debt amount, which is reported to be lower than expiring debt, is expected to decrease taxes $97 per household, based on a Mendham Township property assessment of $905,519.
