11+ Inches Of Snow Fell In One Morris County Town During Winter Storm

The snowfall began melting by mid-afternoon, though untreated areas could freeze overnight with temperatures dropping back into the 20s.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A powerful winter storm moving across New Jersey brought close to a foot of snow to parts of one Morris County town, according to the latest totals.

Randolph was among the highest totals in the state, with a local spotter recording 11.5 inches of snow. Sussex County saw the greatest amount of snowfall Tuesday with 15 inches reported in Sussex, and the Warren County community of Blairstown measured 12 inches of snow.

Wednesday is expected to be sunny, with highs in the lower 30s and some wind from the northwest, gusting up to 30 miles per hour.
