Aidan Is Making A Real Impact In The Community: Chester Star Student

CHESTER, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Christopher who nominated Aidan of Chester. Christopher is Aidan's father.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

I believe Aidan is an excellent candidate to be a star local student nominee because he is a well-rounded young man.

Aidan is a senior at West Morris Mendham High School and currently participates in the International Baccalaureate Program and has been named to the Honor Roll several times and will attend college in the fall of 2023.

Aidan is also a three-time varsity football letter winner and recently served as one of the Captains of the football team. He has so far also earned two varsity letters as a member of the Track and Field team and competed at the Penn Relays.

Recently, Aidan completed his Eagle Scout Project and earned the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout in Chester BSA Troop 139.

While a member of Troop 139, Aidan has been active in his Chester community and participated in many community service projects and events. He has been an asset and a leader in his school, on his sports teams, in Troop 139 and in his community. He is a caring individual, always willing to give back and lead by example. All of these characteristics make Aidan an excellent choice for star local student.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
