Arrangements Set for Morris County Pilot Killed in Plane Crash
Philip Clements was 62 and a grandfather.

Philip Clements was a man of strong faith and immense achievement both professionally and personally.
The 62-year-old Chester Township resident died Tuesday night when his plane crash landed at the Somerset County Airport in Bedminster Township.
Born in Washington, Clements lived in New York City for 15 years before moving to Chester Township in 1991.

A life-long learner, Clements received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Puget Sound; his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law, and L.L.M. in taxation from the New York University School of Law; and a Masters in Theological Studies from the Reformed Theological Seminary.
Clements’ professional career included high-level positions at Coopers and Lybrand, LLP; PricewaterhousCoopers, LLP; Standard and Poor’s; and then founder of Cathedral Consulting Group, LLC.

“Not one to sit on the beach, Phil went on to co-found Cathedral Consulting Group, LLC with the vision to bring technical skills to small business enterprises while relying on the timeless business principles found in Scripture,” his obituary said.
Clements was also a teacher at The King’s College, Rutgers University, and high school Sunday school at Grace Bible Chapel in Chester.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Julie; three daughters; two grandchildren and another expected in November.
The viewing will be held at Higgins Home for Funerals at 752 Mountain Boulevard in Watchung on Monday, Sept. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be held at Grace Bible Chapel on Oakdale Road in Chester on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m.
