Arrest Made After Amazon Packages Dumped On Morris Co. Road
Police say nearly $2,000 worth of goods were swiped from the Amazon packages.

HARDING, NJ — Three weeks after two dozen Amazon packages were found strewn on the side of a Harding Township road, an arrest has been made, police said.
Trey L. Johnson, 31, from Woodbridge, was charged with third degree theft of movable property. Police say Johnson rummaged through the packages, taking some things and discarding the rest. The value of the stolen items was $1,974.27, police said.
Johnson worked for a third party Amazon contractor, Prime EFS. He is the third subcontractor or delivery person to be accused of swiping packages. A subcontractor in Metuchen was accused of stealing packages earlier this week, and a Monmouth delivery man was arrested after being caught on video removing packages from a porch.
