Blue Goes Pink: Mendham Twp. Cop Car Raises Breast Cancer Awareness

Police department joins forces with local business to create pink brush guard.

MENDHAM TWP. – The boys in blue have gone pink, and for good reason.

Mendham Township’s Police Department, thanks to a local auto shop, is showing its support for breast cancer awareness and victims of the disease after having one of its vehicles’ brush guard’s painted pink.

The brush guard on one of the fleet’s vehicles was scheduled for routine painting at Morristown Autobody, Lt. Ross Johnson said. When the department discussed the idea with owner John Glass, the businessman jumped into action and donated the paintjob to the squad.
