Car Stolen Overnight In Mendham Borough: PD

Police are once again reminding residents to always lock their cars and take keys with them.

MENDHAM BOROUGH, NJ — A car was stolen overnight in Mendham Borough, and police are reminding residents to lock their cars.

The car was stolen around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Maple Avenue Thursday morning, police said. The three thieves who took the car had their faces covered with masks, police said.

Police say the keys were still inside the car at the time it was stolen, and are once again reminding residents to keep their car locked and to always remove their keys and anything valuable from inside the car.

Mendham Borough was not the only town targeted this week. Several cars were burglarized during the 2 a.m. hour in Madison Wednesday morning as well.
