Proceeds from the book sale will go towards the library’s events, including its jewelry making sessions, wildlife shows, and much more.

Hundreds of books have been donated for the sale, thanks to generous residents. So many, in fact, the Friends of the Chester Library ran out of room to store them all.

“The community has been so generous and we ran out of storage space,” a statement read. “We plan to open book donations after this August sale. Thank you all so much.”
