Chester Family Wins Annual 'Fresh Air Fund' Photo Contest

They may only see each other one week each year, but they’ll be brothers forever.

The Herrmann family, of Chester, had 7-year-old Allah, of Staten Island, stay with them for a week this summer as part of the Fresh Air Fund program, which brings inner city youth out to rural areas to enjoy different surroundings each year.

Allah and his Chester brothers Cash and Vaughn bonded and created wonderful relationships during their time together, as seen in the photograph, courtesy Anne Constance Photography.

The Fresh Air Fund ran a photo contest in four different categories, including “Laketime Fun,” “Summer Siblings,” “By the Beach,” and Fresh Air Foodies.”

The photo of the three “brothers” was submitted to the Summertime Siblings category and named the 2015 winner.
