Chester Horse Farm Seeks Volunteers
The non-profit, 6-acre farm needs volunteers to complete several projects, including ones for disabled students.

CHESTER, N.J.– A non-profit Chester horse farm is seeking volunteers to complete these projects:
- A lean-to to shelter the horses in inclement weather.
- Picnic benches and tables for the groups of disabled children that come to the farm on school trips where they learn to groom and ride the larger horses.
- A set of bleachers so that the students that are not riding have a safe place to observe the other riding students.
Hope's Promise Farm, set on 6-acres, opened in 2012. There, Executive Director and Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (P.A.T.H.) Maureen Coultas teaches individuals, including those with special needs.
