Chester Lioness Lions Club Offers Scholarships Towards College Costs
Chester Lioness Lions Club offering scholarships to Chester, Mendham and Washington Township high school seniors graduating in 2025.
The Chester Lioness Lions Club offers annual scholarships to graduating High School students residing in Chester, Mendham or Washington Township in Morris County. Each scholarship offers $1,000 - $1500 towards college costs. Criteria for these scholarships include the candidate’s academic record, community service, and outstanding accomplishments in activities demonstrating leadership. Financial need is also a key consideration.
Applications can be obtained in the College Resource Center at both West Morris Mendham and West Morris Central High Schools. The schools have applications available to all senior students beginning March 1, 2025. The completed form must be returned to the College Resource Center no later than April 1, 2025.
These scholarships are available not only to public high school students, but those attending private schools or those having home tutoring. A letter requesting an application can be sent to the Chester Lioness Lions Club at chesternjlioness@gmail.com. Completed applications must be forwarded to the Lioness Lions Club by April 10, 2025.
