CHESTER, NJ — The Chester Police Department is searching for a man suspected of fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle crash.

An alert was sent by Chester police at 7:07 p.m. on Friday night, saying that the police department, as well as the sheriff's K-9 units, are seeking the suspect.

Authorities are searching the area of Pleasant Hill Road and Cromwell Drive, according to the alert.

The suspect was described as a 58-year-old Hispanic man wearing a red shirt and jeans.
