Chester Preschoolers Bring Joy Of Christmas to Nursing Home

11 youngsters sing holiday favorites to elderly.

CHESTER TWP. - The holiday spirit could be heard and felt at Bryan Manor in Chester Township last week, as nearly a dozen preschool-aged children brought their musical talents to a group of nursing home residents.

The Little Lambs Christian Nursery School class, lead by teacher Kim Roswech and aide Susan Rentschler, sang Christmas favorites to the group of residents, who joyfully sang along and cheered.

Local violinist Dawn Patrick accompanied the singing children, who also wore festive blinking Santa hats and rang homemade bells during the performance. The residents were treated to cookies and candy canes as well, prepared and delivered by the children.
