The show was canceled due to "impending inclement weather," officials said.

CHESTER, NJ — The opening day of Chester’s Summer Concert series is cancelled, according to officials.

The cancellation is due to “impending inclement weather,” according to a neighborhood alert. Forecasts show a 50 percent chance of rain in Chester around 7 p.m., which is when the show is scheduled to begin.

Action Park, a 1980s cover band, was scheduled to play tonight. It is unclear whether the show will be postponed.
