Chester’s Summer Concerts To Kick Off This Week
From country, to soul, to rock n' roll, here's what to expect this summer.
CHESTER, NJ — Those looking to hang out in the sun while listening to some live jams won’t have to look far, because Chester’s Annual Summer Concerts are returning this week.
Chester’s Outdoor Concerts are held every Thursday (except July 3) from June 26 to July 31 at the Municipal Field Gazebo, 155 Main Street in Chester. The shows are free for the public to attend. All concerts start at 7 p.m.
“Grab some takeout from one of our fabulous local restaurants, a comfy outdoor chair or blanket, your music lovin’ friends, & meet us at Municipal Field Gazebo for a rockin’ good time,” a Chester statement read.

The events are sponsored by Chester Borough, Chester Township, the Chester Municipal Alliance, and the Governor’s Council on Substance Use Disorder.

- Thursday, June 26 — Action Park is a 1980s cover band that plays tunes from Van Halen, Hall and Oates, Men Without Hats, and other ’80s legends.
- Thursday, July 10 — The Racket is a band covering rock from the 1950s through the 2000s, and “everything in between.” Expect tunes from Metallica, AC/DC, ZZ Top, and more.
- Thursday, July 17 — The E Boro Bandits are a country/southern rock band. They're popular for covering the likes of Luke Combs and The Charlie Daniels Band, as well as playing their own originals.
- Thursday, July 24 — Soul Machine is a multi-piece band known for their R&B/Soul music, covering the likes of The Isley Brothers, Jimmy Ruffin, Jackson 5, and other popular artists.
- Thursday, July 31 — Closing the outdoor concerts is the Pre Fab 4, a Beatles cover band who will be playing a special Beatles vs. Rolling Stones concert.
