Dear Editor,
It is no secret that for a rural community to thrive local government, business and the public must work together in harmony – anything else will lead to failure. Under the leadership of Mayor Bill Cogger, our Chester Township has thrived. That is why I urge you to join my family and I in supporting his re-election on June 7th.
His honest, tell it like it is style that is uniquely Chester has been the cornerstone of his Administration as he tirelessly seeks to protect our quality of life and keep our taxes stable. These are the qualities of true leadership.

I can count on Mayor Cogger’s conservative and pragmatic approach to government that has resulted in significant debt reduction and no new taxes the past three years. And being a local business owner that also lives in the community – nothing could be more important than living and working in a tax stable community.
As a small business owner, the need to keep costs down are essential for survival – Mayor Cogger brings his own small business experience to work every day on behalf of local taxpayers. This has never been more evident than in the overwhelming amount of work he has done to secure funds through public/private partnerships that turned Highland Ridge Barn into a unique amenity for residents. Now families and residents younger or in their golden years can enjoy.
