Coordinated Investigation Nabs Morris Co. Drug Dealers: Police

CHESTER, NJ - In early October 2020, after a lengthy, multi-jurisdictional investigation, the Chester Police Department Detective Bureau arrested a man and a woman, both from Lake Hopatcong, and charged them drug distribution within Morris County, according to authorities.

These individuals were both charged with Distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS; specifically, heroin), as well as related CDS possession and paraphernalia charges, police said. Both were jailed in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.

The Roxbury Township Police Department, Wharton Borough Police Department, Dover Police Department, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office assisted with the investigation.
