Downed Tree Causes Delays On Busy Chester Highway: See Where

High winds from this weekend's Nor'Easter knocked down a tree, causing significant delays, officials said.

CHESTER, NJ — A downed tree is expected to cause significant traffic delays on Route 24 on Monday morning, according to Chester police.

At 10:30 a.m., Monday, Chester police sent out an alert that Route 24, in the Parks Farm area, would be closed due to a fallen tree.

The county road department is cleaning up the road, and the closure is expected to last until noon.
