“Some spots may end up dry, with less than a quarter-inch of rain even where showers or a briefly steadier period of rain does focus in around midday through Saturday afternoon,” the National Weather Service said in a forecast discussion.

Sunday looks to be dry and sunny, though, with highs in the upper 50s— good weather for traveling, playing in the backyard, or taking a walk. Garden State residents are encouraged to enjoy the dry spring-like weather while they can, as stormy conditions are likely to come back on Monday.
