As a father and community member, I’m committed to ensuring our schools provide a top-quality education. I want to bring my experience in public service and resource management to the board, focusing on practical solutions, fiscal responsibility, and keeping politics out of the classroom.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

My experience as a first responder, energy manager, and advocate for special needs education gives me a unique perspective. I bring a balanced approach that prioritizes both safety and efficient use of resources.

What do you see as the biggest issue facing the school board in Mendham Township?

Balancing high educational standards with budget constraints is the biggest challenge. I’m committed to making informed decisions that reflect the community’s priorities while being fiscally responsible.

How much does COVID learning loss and school security impact your plans?

Addressing COVID learning loss is a top priority. We need to provide targeted support and resources to help students catch up, whether through tutoring, supplemental programs, or enhanced classroom strategies. School security is equally important, and as a first responder, I understand the value of proactive safety measures. I’m committed to ensuring our schools remain secure by regularly reviewing protocols, investing in necessary infrastructure, and providing training for staff, so students can learn in a safe, focused environment.

What is your favorite thing about the township schools?

I love the strong sense of community in our schools. The dedication of teachers, enthusiasm of students, and support from families make it a special place for children to learn and grow.
