CHESTER, NJ — A roadway in Chester is currently closed due to a fallen tree and downed utility wires, according to a report from the police department.

Chester Place is closed Thursday morning after a large tree fell onto the roadway, knocking down power lines and blocking traffic.

According to police, JCP&L has been notified, and a crew has been dispatched to repair the downed wires.
