Residents From Mendham Township Who Suffered IDA Damages Can Meet With FEMA Reps Wednesday
Residents from Mendham Township who would like to meet with FEMA, can set up an appointment to do so on Wednesday.
MENDHAM, NJ — Representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency or FEMA are heading to Mendham Township on Wednesday for the day, to meet with residents who were impacted by Ida.
After the disaster area was recently extended to Morris County to provide both individual and public assistance to those who experienced storm-related damages, Mendham Township Mayor Sarah Neibart reported in a news release on Sunday that FEMA has established a disaster recovery center or DRC in Morris County through Thursday at the Morris Plains Community Center on 51 Jim Fear Drive.
Mendham Township residents who may need FEMA assistance can obtain it on Wednesday in the township between from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents who would like to meet with FEMA representatives, should contact mendhamtwpoem@gmail.com for an appointment.

As of Sunday, Neibart said there were over 400 FEMA representatives helping homeowners and tenants in New Jersey.
Residents who need to begin a claim because of Ida damages, should go to www.disasterassistance.gov, to initiate the process.
