Fireworks And Fun This Week In Chester At Annual Fireman's Carnival
The carnival is a fundraiser for the Chester Volunteer Fire Company, running Tuesday through Saturday with a fireworks show on Friday night.
CHESTER, NJ — As June prepares to draw to a close, a popular summer festival has returned to Chubb Park in Chester Township.
The Chester Fireman's Carnival runs Tuesday, June 25 through Saturday, June 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with a fireworks show Friday night.
Now in its 60th year, the carnival is a fundraiser for the Chester Volunteer Fire Company, with all proceeds going to the fire department.

This event promises rides for the whole family, games, music, food, a beer tent, and more. The volunteer fire company's annual 50/50 raffle is also going on, with tickets available for purchase at the firehouse, LJs Barbershop, Old Mill Tavern, and the Mini Mac Diner. Last year's prize was more than $9,500.
Those who love carnival rides may purchase a $35 all-you-can-ride pass on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at the field.

There will be live music Friday night before the fireworks display at 10 p.m., with a rain date of Saturday. There will be a $10 parking cost for the fireworks show.
Chubb Park is located at 290 West Main St, Chester, NJ 07930.Volunteers also put up a new carnival pavilion for this year, the fire company said.
