Flooding Shuts Down Roadway In Mendham

As of around 5 a.m., many areas in Morris County have already received between 2 and 4 inches of rain overnight.

MENDHAM, NJ — Heavy overnight rains have caused road closures in Mendham on Monday morning, authorities said.

The Morris County Office of Emergency Management said that the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Morris County. A flood watch is in effect through Monday afternoon.

  • Cherry Lane, between Hilltop Road and Prentice Lane, is temporarily closed due to a tree and power line across the roadway.

A flood watch has been issued for the area through 6 p.m. on Dec. 19 as rain continues to fall.
