CHESTER, NJ — Looking for a memorable summer evening? Head to downtown Chester this Thursday for a new nighttime community event that's set to bring fun and excitement to the heart of Chester.

The Historic Chester Business Association, which has supported Chester's local businesses for over 48 years, is inviting the community to spend a special evening in town.

This Thursday, community members can stroll through Downtown Chester, which will stay open until 8 p.m., offering shoppers extra time to explore all the local shops and enjoy the evening.

Chester has over 80 boutique shops as well as eateries serving food and treats. People can likely find something for everyone in Chester's downtown, from home decor to jewelry to clothing to toys to pet products to one-of-a-kind gifts.

Not only will the shops stay open late, but there will also be a variety of fun activities for the whole family, including live music, officials said.

These events, along with Chester’s sprawling farms, lush parks and picturesque scenery, continue to draw visitors from near and far.
